BusinessLedger Pro privacy policy
BusinessLedger Pro keeps your information on your device. We do not run a server that collects or stores it, we do not sell it, and we show no ads.
What BusinessLedger Pro keeps, and where
BusinessLedger Pro stores your companies, accounts, transactions, invoices, customers and vendors you enter, reports, attachments you add and settings on your device, inside the app's own storage or in folders you choose. We (Michael's Crossing International, LLC) cannot see this information.
BusinessLedger Pro is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice.
Optional cloud sync and backup
If you turn on sync or backup, BusinessLedger Pro copies your data to your own Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive account, so you can use it on your other devices. You sign in directly with Google or Microsoft; we never see your password. BusinessLedger Pro asks only for access to the files it creates itself, not your other files. The copy lives in your account, under Google's or Microsoft's privacy policy, and you can delete it at any time. You can also save a plain backup file on your device instead.
Other services
Apart from the optional cloud sync and Google Play described here, BusinessLedger Pro does not send your information to anyone.
Permissions
- Files you pick: to import files (for example from QuickBooks or any other bookkeeping software) and to save backups, reports and exports.
- Biometrics or device lock (optional): the app lock uses your device's own fingerprint, face or PIN check. We never receive your fingerprint, face data or PIN.
- Internet: only for optional cloud backup.
Purchases
BusinessLedger Pro is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never receive your card details. Google shares limited order information with us (such as the order number, the item, and your country or region) so we can handle refunds and taxes.
Crash reports
BusinessLedger Pro contains no analytics or advertising code. If you allow it in your Android settings, Google may share anonymous crash and performance reports with us through Google Play. They do not contain your books, records or other content.
Children
BusinessLedger Pro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app keeps information only on the device, we hold no children's information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
- On your device: delete items inside the app, or clear the app's storage (Android Settings > Apps > BusinessLedger Pro > Storage > Clear storage), or uninstall the app.
- In your cloud: delete the BusinessLedger Pro folder or files in your Google Drive or OneDrive.
- Remove access: disconnect BusinessLedger Pro in its Settings, or remove it at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (Microsoft).
- Emails to us: ask us at support@michaelscrossing.com and we will delete your messages.
We have no account for you to delete, because BusinessLedger Pro does not create one.
Security
Your data is protected by your device's own security. Connections to Google and Microsoft use encryption (HTTPS). Keep your device locked and your cloud accounts protected.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Important changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
